Welcome aboard
Welcome to Class Act Fishing Charters
Captain Bobby Marshall is a lifelong waterman. Hands down, he is one of the best there is in these parts.
Born and raised on the water, he has owned and operated a variety of vessels over the years, including the skipjack Virginia W., built in 1904.
His career includes oystering, crabbing, gill net fishing, tugboat captain, and his favourite: line fishing for the biggest and best game fish the Chesapeake has to offer.
USCG certified with a 500 ton near coastal captain's license, Captain Bobby knows what he is doing on the water. He is a proud member of the Maryland Charter Boat Association.

The boat
Class Act was built by the Captain himself
Made exclusively for charter boat fishing, and laid out by a working waterman: an open deck, the rods racked where you need them, and room for six anglers at once.
She lives at Knapps Narrows Marina on Tilghman Island. One customer called her clean, well provisioned and sea-worthy, and that is about right.
Three generations
What people have to say!
Most of the Captain's business is word of mouth: people he has taken fishing for years, then their children, and now their grandchildren.
I have fished with Bobby Marshall for almost 30 years and I have always been totally satisfied. Bobby is a first rate fisherman and boat captain. He makes every effort for his charter to be comfortable and primarily catch fish. There has never been a trip with Bobby when we didn't catch fish.
I have fished with Bobby Marshall well over 100 days. There's no finer guy, and no better fisherman. I can give Bobby only the highest recommendation!
Captain Bobby is a well seasoned salt who knows his business on the Chesapeake and many other waters around the world. His sea stories are only surpassed by his knowledge of the Bay and his ability to locate and reel in prime fish! His patience with newbies is a true plus.

(410) 924-4201No answer? Captain Bobby is probably out fishing. There is no cell signal out past the Narrows, so leave a message or send the form and he will call you back from the dock.
